Arkham Knight, though it's very much free roam, is still quite the "set in stone" game in the sense that you are roleplaying as Batman, and you pretty much are given a batmobile that you upgrade to its maximum potential throughout the course of the game, and of course your gadgets that you unlock also throughout the course of the game. You can stop reading now but here's my opinion. Keep in mind, they are different games but having been a gamer for over 20 years and given the choice, I would pick MGS every time. For this price I got a fraction of the content that MGS offers. I have AK and the Season Pass, for which I paid collectively $90. This coupled with a different Challenge Map configuration called AR Challenges which do nothing but limit and restrict choice and difference in scenario. That takes away from the core of that series, which was the combat and predator sections.
